"generalInfo": "The BMW M6 was the M division's grand tourer, built on the 6 Series and sold in the U.S. through the 2019 model year before the M8 replaced it. This generation used the 560-hp twin-turbo 4.4-liter S63 V8 shared with the M5, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch or an optional six-speed manual.\n\nThree bodies were offered. The F13 coupe and F12 convertible ran through 2017 and 2018 respectively, while the four-door F06 Gran Coupe outlasted both and was the only M6 left for 2019. All three share a carbon-fibre roof — on the coupe and Gran Coupe it is visible, left unpainted.\n\nA Competition Package raised output further and firmed the suspension. The M6 was never a lightweight — the convertible pushes 4,500 lb — but it covers ground quickly, reaching 60 mph in about 4.1 seconds in coupe and Gran Coupe form.",
