"generalInfo": "The Honda Fit is the subcompact five-door hatchback Honda sells in the United States under the Fit name and almost everywhere else as the Jazz. Its defining engineering trick is a centre fuel tank packaged beneath the front seats, which frees up a deep, flat rear floor and makes room for the Magic Seat — a rear bench whose cushions flip up to carry tall objects and whose backrests fold level with the load floor. That layout gives the Fit interior volume and cargo flexibility far beyond what its footprint suggests, and it is the main reason the car has a following well outside the usual economy-car audience.\n\nThe third-generation Fit (chassis code GK5) reached North America for the 2015 model year and remained on sale here through 2020, receiving a mid-cycle facelift for 2018 that brought new bumpers, a redesigned Display Audio head unit and the sporty Sport grade. Every U.S. car uses a 1.5-litre direct-injected DOHC i-VTEC four driving the front wheels through either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic; there was no hybrid, no all-wheel drive and no turbocharged version in this market. Cargo space measures 16.6 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 52.7 cubic feet with them folded, and every version seats five.\n\nThe Fit sat below the Civic as Honda's entry-level car in the United States, and NHTSA awarded the third-generation car a five-star overall crash rating in every model year it was sold. Honda withdrew the Fit from the U.S. market after 2020 without a direct replacement, leaving the HR-V — which shares the Fit's platform and centre-tank packaging — as the least expensive Honda offered here.",
