"generalInfo": "The Honda HR-V is the entry point to Honda's SUV range in the United States. The nameplate arrived here for the 2016 model year as a Fit-based subcompact crossover built in Celaya, Mexico, powered by a 1.8-litre SOHC i-VTEC four and offered with front- or all-wheel drive. Its signature feature was the Fit's Magic Seat, whose second-row cushions fold up against the seatbacks to swallow tall items.\n\nFor the 2023 model year Honda replaced that car in North America with a completely different vehicle that keeps the HR-V name. Built on the eleventh-generation Civic's Honda Architecture platform and assembled in Celaya, it is 9.4 inches longer and 2.6 inches wider than its predecessor, uses a 2.0-litre DOHC engine with a fully independent multi-link rear suspension, and makes the Honda Sensing driver-assistance suite standard on every trim. Outside North America and China the same vehicle is sold as the Honda ZR-V, while a smaller Fit-based model continues to wear the HR-V badge elsewhere — so global HR-V specifications do not describe the U.S. car from 2023 onward.\n\nEvery U.S. HR-V is a five-seat, five-door crossover with a continuously variable transmission and an available Real Time all-wheel-drive system that adds a flat $1,500 to any trim; Honda has never published a tow rating for it. The model is consistently among the best-selling subcompact SUVs in America and Honda describes it as the brand's number-one SUV with first-time and Gen Z buyers, and the number-one subcompact SUV with Hispanic buyers.",

Leather seats, an eight-speaker system, low-speed braking control and parking sensors carry over, while the 9-inch touchscreen it used to have exclusively is now standard on every trim.
