"generalInfo": "The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a battery-electric compact crossover and the first vehicle built on the Hyundai Motor Group's dedicated E-GMP skateboard platform. Launched in the United States in December 2021 as a 2022 model, it is also the first product of the Ioniq sub-brand. Its \"Parametric Pixel\" lighting and creased, hatchback-like body wrap a 118.1-inch wheelbase — longer than a Palisade's — which gives it a flat floor, a sliding center console and back-seat room out of all proportion to its 182–183-inch length.\n\nEarly North American cars used a 58 kWh Standard Range or 77.4 kWh Long Range pack, with a single rear motor making 168 or 225 hp and an optional front motor lifting the dual-motor cars to 320 hp. A 2024 update added rear side airbags and a Disney100 Platinum special edition. For the 2025 model year the Ioniq 5 was facelifted and moved to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Georgia, gaining a 63 kWh Standard Range and 84 kWh Long Range battery, a native NACS charge port, a rear wiper, a physical climate panel and a new off-road-flavored XRT trim. The high-performance 641-hp Ioniq 5 N arrived alongside it as a separate model. For 2026 Hyundai cut prices sharply across the range.\n\nWhat sets it apart is its 800-volt electrical architecture, which supports 10-to-80-percent DC fast charging in about 18 minutes, plus a Vehicle-to-Load system that turns the car into a 1.9 kW mobile generator. It earned a five-star overall NHTSA rating in its first three model years. EPA range spans roughly 220 to 318 miles, output runs from 168 to 320 hp in the standard car, and U.S. base prices have ranged from about $35,000 to $59,400 before destination.",
