The Acura ILX is Acura's compact entry‑level luxury sedan produced for the 2013–2022 model years and derived from the ninth‑generation Honda Civic platform. Across its life the ILX was offered with a range of four‑cylinder powertrains including an early 1.5L IMA hybrid (approx. 111 hp), a 2.0L base engine (~150 hp) and a 2.4L "Earth Dreams" engine (~201 hp) that became the standard mill from 2016 paired to an 8‑speed dual‑clutch transmission. The ILX was marketed as a value‑oriented Acura with compact dimensions, Acura styling cues (including later Jewel Eye LED lighting), and an available A‑Spec sport appearance package; AcuraWatch advanced driver‑assist features became standard in later years.
The ILX was discontinued after the 2022 model year and effectively replaced in Acura's entry lineup by the reintroduced Acura Integra (DE) beginning for 2023.
