2022 Audi e-tron
2022 Audi e-tron Premium
Premium is the entry point to the 2022 e-tron SUV at $65,900 before Audi's $1,195 destination charge. Everything mechanical is shared with the rest of the non-S range: a 95-kWh pack, one motor per axle, 355 hp normally and 402 hp on a temporary Boost-mode overrun, and a 222-mile EPA range that is the best figure in the lineup. Standard kit runs to LED headlights, four-zone climate control, the dual-touchscreen MMI, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit, navigation, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors. For 2022 Audi made a Convenience Plus package available here, bundling a 360-degree camera, the Driver Assistance package and the Black Optic exterior kit.
2022 Audi e-tron Premium Plus
Premium Plus is the mid-grade SUV at $74,800 and the trim MotorTrend calls the sweet spot of the range. Over Premium it adds heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system and a second onboard charge port on the passenger side. For 2022 the Black Optic package fitted here gained new 21-inch sport wheels with orange brake calipers. The powertrain and 222-mile EPA range are unchanged from Premium.
2022 Audi e-tron Chronos Edition
Chronos Edition is new for 2022 and replaces Prestige at the top of the e-tron SUV range, listing at $83,400. Its content is largely cosmetic — Chronos Gray exterior paint, matrix-design LED headlights, the Black Optic package and gray ash wood interior inlays — layered on top of Premium Plus equipment plus massaging front seats and a head-up display. NHTSA's VIN records for 2022 list the trim explicitly as 'quattro Chronos'. Mechanically it is identical to the rest of the SUV range: 95-kWh pack, 355 hp, 222 miles of EPA range.
2022 Audi e-tron Sportback Premium
The e-tron Sportback is the sloped-roof fastback version of the SUV, sold in the U.S. only with S line exterior styling, and Premium opens the body style at $69,100 — a $3,200 walk over the equivalent SUV. Mechanically it is the same car: 95-kWh pack, 355 hp and 402 hp in Boost mode, quattro all-wheel drive and a 4,000-lb tow rating. The roofline costs a little range and cargo volume, dropping EPA figures to 218 miles and 77 MPGe and trunk space behind the rear seats to 27.2 cubic feet. For 2022 the Convenience Plus package became available on this trim, adding a 360-degree camera, the Driver Assistance package and Black Optic exterior trim.
2022 Audi e-tron Sportback Premium Plus
At $78,000 the Sportback Premium Plus mirrors the SUV's mid-grade equipment — ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, Bang & Olufsen 3D audio, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera and a second charge port — inside the fastback body. The 2022 change here is the Black Optic package, which on this trim gained new 22-inch wheels with orange brake calipers. EPA range stays at 218 miles and cargo volume at 27.2 cubic feet behind the second row.
2022 Audi e-tron Sportback Prestige
Prestige survived for 2022 only on the Sportback — the SUV replaced it with the Chronos Edition — and tops the non-S fastback range at $82,300. It layers a head-up display, matrix-design LED headlights, massaging front seats, a top-view camera system and the full Driver Assistance suite over Premium Plus. Powertrain, 218-mile EPA range, 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space and the 4,000-lb tow rating carry over unchanged from the rest of the Sportback line.
2022 Audi e-tron S Premium Plus
2022 is the first U.S. model year for the e-tron S, and Premium Plus is where it starts at $84,800. The S adds a second motor on the rear axle for a tri-motor layout that torque-vectors between the rear wheels, lifting output to 426 hp and 596 lb-ft, or 496 hp and 717 lb-ft on a Boost-mode overrun, and cutting the 0-60 mph time to about 4.3 seconds. It also gets wider bodywork, an S-specific adaptive air suspension tune and a lower tow rating of 3,300 lb. Efficiency is the price: on the standard 20-inch wheels the EPA rates it 73 MPGe and 208 miles, and the optional 21- and 22-inch wheels drop that to 63 MPGe and just 181 miles.
2022 Audi e-tron S Prestige
Prestige is the top e-tron S SUV at $89,800 and the most expensive non-Sportback e-tron of 2022. It brings the head-up display, matrix-design LED headlights, massaging front seats, top-view camera and full Driver Assistance suite to the tri-motor car. Performance and efficiency match the S Premium Plus: 496 hp in Boost mode, roughly 4.3 seconds to 60 mph, and an EPA range of 208 miles on the standard 20-inch wheels or 181 miles on the larger optional sets.
2022 Audi e-tron S Sportback Premium Plus
The tri-motor S powertrain in the fastback body, new to the U.S. for 2022 and priced at $87,400. Output is the same 426 hp and 596 lb-ft, rising to 496 hp and 717 lb-ft in Boost mode, but the Sportback's slipperier roofline actually claws back a little efficiency over the S SUV: the EPA rates it 75 MPGe and 212 miles on the standard 20-inch wheels, or 65 MPGe and 185 miles on the optional 21- and 22-inch wheels. Cargo volume behind the rear seats is 27.2 cubic feet and the tow rating is 3,300 lb.

2022 Audi e-tron S Sportback Prestige
The flagship of the entire 2022 e-tron range at $92,400, combining the tri-motor S powertrain, the fastback Sportback body and the Prestige equipment list — head-up display, matrix-design LED headlights, massaging front seats, top-view camera and the full Driver Assistance suite. EPA figures match the S Sportback Premium Plus at 75 MPGe and 212 miles on 20-inch wheels, falling to 65 MPGe and 185 miles on the larger optional wheels, and 0-60 mph takes about 4.3 seconds.
