The rear-drive eDrive40 makes 335 hp from a single rear motor and forms the base of the range. The M Performance i5 M60 xDrive adds a front motor for 590 hp at launch, quoted as 593 hp from 2025. A mid-range dual-motor xDrive40 with 389 hp joined for 2025. All use an 84.3 kWh battery and a single-speed direct-drive transmission.
Packing the battery under the floor costs some luggage room against the combustion car — 490 litres, or 17.3 cu ft, versus 520 litres for the petrol and plug-in hybrid G60. EPA combined ratings run from 84 to 110 MPGe with 239 to 310 miles of range, the spread driven largely by the 19-, 20- and 21-inch wheel options. Prices run from about $66,800 to $84,100.
