The BMW X3 M is the full M-division version of the X3, launched for the 2020 model year alongside its X4 M sibling. It uses the S58 twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six also found in the M3 and M4, driving all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic and an Active M Differential.

The X3 M was built in Spartanburg, South Carolina and ran through the 2024 model year, ending when the G01 X3 was replaced. It seats five and carries 28.7 cu ft behind the rear seats.
