The BMW X4 M is the full M-division version of the X4, launched for the 2020 model year alongside the X3 M. The two are mechanically identical — the same S58 twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six from the M3 and M4, M xDrive all-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic and an Active M Differential — differing only in roofline and luggage space.
Output is 473 hp as standard or 503 hp as the Competition, and the quicker cars reach 60 mph in under four seconds. EPA economy is 16 to 17 mpg combined.
