The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the high-performance version of the Ioniq 5 and the first battery-electric car developed by Hyundai's N division. What makes it unusual is how hard it works to feel like a combustion car. N e-Shift simulates the shift jolts of an eight-speed dual-clutch by modulating motor torque, N Active Sound+ pipes three sound themes through eight interior and two exterior speakers, and a drift-optimizer mode can even mimic a clutch kick. EPA range is 221 miles, top speed is 162 mph, and U.S. pricing has run from $59,900 to $66,200 before destination.
