The Tesla Cybertruck is a battery-electric full-size crew-cab pickup built at Gigafactory Texas and sold only in North America at launch. Its defining feature is an unpainted 300-series stainless-steel exoskeleton: flat panels roughly 1.8 mm thick on the doors and 1.4 mm on the body that cannot be conventionally stamped and are instead laser-cut and air-bent, giving the truck its low-polygon silhouette and its unusual structural rigidity.
Underneath, the Cybertruck is one of the most technically unconventional trucks on sale. A 123 kWh structural pack built from 4680 cells runs at 816 volts nominal and is split into two 400-volt halves so it can still use widespread 400-volt DC chargers, peaking at 350 kW on 800-volt hardware. It is also the first production vehicle to move its low-voltage systems to a 48-volt architecture, which — combined with an Ethernet-based vehicle network — cut cross-vehicle wiring by about two-thirds versus a Model 3. Steering is fully steer-by-wire at 340 degrees lock-to-lock, paired with rear-wheel steering of up to 10 degrees, and the higher trims add self-leveling adaptive air suspension with up to 17.4 in of ground clearance.
The lineup rolled out from the top down. Deliveries began in November 2023 with dual-motor all-wheel-drive and tri-motor Cyberbeast variants, initially sold only as a $20,000-premium Foundation Series; a single-motor rear-wheel-drive Long Range arrived in April 2025 and was withdrawn that September, and a cheaper dual-motor All-Wheel Drive joined the range in February 2026 to sit below the Premium All-Wheel Drive. Across those variants output spans roughly 315 to 845 hp, EPA-rated range runs from about 300 to 335 miles, and U.S. base prices have ranged from about $60,000 to $120,000. Every version seats five, carries a 6 ft x 4 ft composite bed rated at 67 cu ft, and offers up to 11,000 lb of towing.

2024 Tesla Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive
The dual-motor All-Wheel Drive is the Cybertruck's volume variant and one of the two versions that opened the truck's first model year. A front induction motor and a rear permanent-magnet motor combine for 600 hp, good for 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds while still towing 11,000 lb. For most of 2024 it could only be bought as the $99,990 Foundation Series launch edition; once that ended in October 2024 the standard truck listed at $79,990.
2024 Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast
Cyberbeast is the tri-motor flagship, launched alongside the AWD for the Cybertruck's first model year. It swaps the layout to a permanent-magnet motor up front and two induction motors at the rear for a peak 845 hp and a 2.6-second 0-60 mph run, while keeping the 11,000 lb tow rating. Like the AWD it was sold only as a Foundation Series at $119,990 for most of 2024, dropping to $99,990 once that edition ended in October.

2025 Tesla Cybertruck Long Range
The Long Range is the single-motor rear-drive Cybertruck, added in April 2025 as the entry point to the range at $69,990. A rear permanent-magnet motor makes 315 hp and EPA rates it at 335 miles, the longest of any Cybertruck, but it is also the most stripped: no adaptive air suspension, no bed power outlets or Powershare, no motorized tonneau cover, no ventilated seats and no rear screen. It sold poorly and Tesla discontinued it in September 2025.
2025 Tesla Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive
The dual-motor All-Wheel Drive carries over as the mid-range Cybertruck at $79,990, now sold without the Foundation Series premium that governed 2024 orders. Front induction and rear permanent-magnet motors still combine for 600 hp and a 4.1-second 0-60 mph, and 2025 is the first year EPA published a label for it: 40/47 MPGe and 325 miles of range.
2025 Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast
Cyberbeast remains the tri-motor flagship for 2025, with 845 hp, a 2.6-second 0-60 mph and a 130 mph top speed. It opened the year at $99,990, then in August 2025 Tesla raised it $15,000 to $114,990 while making the previously optional Luxe Package — Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and free Supercharging — standard equipment.

2026 Tesla Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive
For 2026 Tesla split the dual-motor Cybertruck in two and made All-Wheel Drive the new entry point, launching it on 19 February 2026 at an introductory $59,990 before raising it to $69,990 on 1 March. It keeps the 600 hp dual-motor powertrain, 4.1-second 0-60 mph and 325 miles of EPA range, and unlike the rear-drive Long Range it retains the powered tonneau cover, bed outlets and Powershare, but it trades the air springs for adaptive coil-spring damping and drops towing to 7,500 lb.
2026 Tesla Cybertruck Premium All-Wheel Drive
Premium All-Wheel Drive is the 2026 name for the dual-motor Cybertruck that had simply been called All-Wheel Drive through 2025, and it stays at $79,990. Mechanically it is unchanged — 600 hp, 4.1 seconds to 60 mph, 325 miles of EPA range — but against the new base AWD it adds adaptive air suspension, 11,000 lb towing, the full-width rear light bar, bed L-tracks, ventilated seats, a rear-seat display and a 15-speaker audio system.

2026 Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast
Cyberbeast continues as the tri-motor flagship with 845 hp, a 2.6-second 0-60 mph and a 130 mph top speed. It carried into 2026 at the $114,990 price set in August 2025, then on 19 February 2026 Tesla reversed that increase and cut it $15,000 back to $99,990 alongside the launch of the cheaper All-Wheel Drive.
2026 Tesla Cybertruck Long Range
The single-motor rear-drive Long Range carried an EPA certification into the 2026 model year but was effectively over before it began: Tesla pulled it from sale in September 2025 after only 173 were built, and by the time the 2026 range was set it had been replaced at the bottom of the lineup by the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive. It remains the longest-range Cybertruck at 335 EPA miles, and all 173 were recalled in May 2026 over brake-rotor stud holes that could crack.
