BMW X6 M: General Information
The BMW X6 M is the full M-division version of the X6 and the coupe-roofed twin of the X5 M. Both use the S63 twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with M xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic, and differ only in roofline and luggage space.
The F86 ran from 2015 to 2018 with 567 hp and a 4.0-second 0-60 mph time. The F96 replaced it for 2020 with 600 hp, or 617 hp as the Competition, cutting that to 3.7 seconds. From 2024 only the Competition remained, gaining mild-hybrid assistance.
There is no 2019 X6 M: the F86 ended with the F16 X6 and the F96 arrived for 2020. NHTSA returns no recall records for the "X6 M" model name, so recall history is not stated. Every X6 M seats five.
