The Ford EcoSport is a five-seat subcompact crossover SUV developed by Ford Brazil. The first generation debuted in 2003, while the globally marketed second generation arrived in 2012 on Ford's B-car architecture and received a substantial facelift for the 2018 model year.

North America received the facelifted second-generation EcoSport from the 2018 through 2022 model years, with U.S.-market vehicles imported from Ford's Chennai, India, plant. Across its U.S. run, it used either a 1.0L EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder with front-wheel drive or a naturally aspirated 2.0L four-cylinder with Intelligent 4WD, always through a six-speed SelectShift automatic.
